Sponsored by TD Bank, the charity conducted Round Table discussions and national research analysis to better understand the strengths, difficulties, and barriers commonly experienced by Canadian women entrepreneurs.
The purpose of this report is to provide insights into the common strengths of our nation’s women entrepreneurs, and the common biases experienced by many Canadian women founders. From these insights, this report aims to:
Provide awareness and education to private and public sectors directly impacting the experience of women entrepreneurs and racialized women entrepreneurs,
Provide recommendations for resources and supports most needed by women entrepreneurs and racialized female founders, and
Advocate for changes to be made in private and public sectors to remove barriers and systemic biases creating racial and gender disparity effectively and quickly.
