How a new program in Canada is opening the job market door for international students

Updated: Apr 23

The Toronto Star recently published an article about the Business Higher Education Roundtable's  work-integrated learning (WIL) placements for international students!

BHER launched five WIL partnerships across various provinces in Canada to support international students’ transition from academics to the work world. The program provides mentorship, networking opportunities, and work experiences to thousands of international students.

The article highlights challenges that many international students face, such as a lack of Canadian work experience and professional networks. BHER has partnered with local businesses like EnPoint to support students who have traditionally faced unique barriers to accessing meaningful work experience.
