What three words would you use to describe mentorship?
Giving Back Experiences
Why do you think mentorship matters in 2023?
We live in a world where there is less human contact than when I was younger. Technology is great but human contact builds relationships and younger people have tried to let Technology build relationships. Life experiences with human relationships teach us done of us are perfect but we can all learn and grow from each other’s life experiences. With age we just have lived and experienced more which can help younger people understand times are different but the fundamentals are still the same.
Is there a memorable "mentorship moment" you'd like to share?
I think best story I can share is I tell people the mistakes I made allowed me to find success so it is okay to make mistakes, the young people in business sometime believe you can never be wrong, that is not true, you will be wrong it is a matter what did you learn from that. Always offer your help and advise if asked, it helps keep you young at heart.
